PDX Bridge Pedal

Coast your way in to waterfront history and escape to Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge.

Our Bridge Tour is one of the most popular – and the route is 90 percent flat off street paved path! Starting at the North end of Tom McCall Waterfront Park, we visit the Japanese – American Historical Plaza before crossing the river on the Steel Bridge and its amazing bike/ pedestrian path. Then we pedal our way down the East Bank Esplanade Towards the Morrison Bridge for a look at the downtown skyline and the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. Our next leg takes us through a quiet green path called the Springwater Corridor. Views of the river and wildlife spotting are a part of the journey to the Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge. After crossing back on the Sellwood Bridge we bike along the waterfront path adjacent to Willamette Park on the way to the South West Waterfront Neighborhood, Portland’s newest. See the Oregon Health and Sciences Aerial Tram before rolling back to the Hawthorne Bridge and the spot of a future bridge that’s not even here yet!
